"we are motionless"

free time

Summer time is supposed to be a time of relaxation. A time where you can complain about how you have nothing exciting to do and are thus, bored out of your mind. Or at least, that's how I usually pass my days. This summer seems slightly different though. Despite the fact that I've accomplished absolutely nothing within these past few weeks (unless of course you count the fact that I've finally watched Code Geass which is more of a sad lagging then an accomplishment). So why is it that I'm so exhausted every single day? One can't help but wonder just what I've been using all my time doing. Well, at least I can't, I'm sure you could care less.

The truth of the matter is that I've been on somewhat of a music rampage. So I finally got around to acquiring a new external HD (one that will hopefully outlive this year at the least). Because of this I've set out to revive my music collection that had been slowly dwindling away for the past few years. Taking the time to listen to every single album and discerning which should be kept or not is ridiculously time consuming. It doesn't help that I get massive waves of distraction whenever I happen to stumble across a new group (aka 9mm Parabellum Bullet and W&Whale, which I had not realized that the W stood for Where the Story Ends until now. Not to mention apparently Mayday has a lot of songs in Taiwanese and they also use a violin! How is it that I never listened to them prior too?!).

So now I wind up staying up later in order to finish sorting whatever artists I had been working on that night. Sad, really. I think it's a sign that I really need to get out of my house more. Bah. Who needs a life? ;]

On that note, a new playlist for everyone! I was debating between rock and electropop/indie. Then Loveholic started playing on my Zune so I figured it was a sign. x]!

1. Loveholic - Loveholic
2. LoveHolic - If Only You Were Here
3. Where The Story Ends - Shocking Pink Rose
4. W & Whale - High School Sensation
5. M-flo Loves Alex (Clazziquai) - Love Me After 12am
6. Humming Urban Stereo - Zipel Salad Song
7. Casker - Static Electricity
8. Instant Romantic Floor - Luv Punch

In any instance I'm beginning to feel that summer is a bit too short. There's so much to do and so little time (sort of). I believe it just feels short because I can only really go out on the weekends since I have work during the weekdays. Then there's so much I wanna do! There's only about...seven more weekends left? So fast!!! But what can you do right? =] Let's just enjoy our time time in the sun. Dum de dum~!

"this time is ours"
"Here's what I think, Mr. Wind-Up Bird," said May Kasahara. "Everybody's born with some different thing at the core of their existence. And that thing, whatever it is, becomes like a heat source that runs each person from the inside. I have one too, of course. Like everybody else. But sometimes it gets out of hand. It swells or shrinks inside me, and it shakes me up. What I'd really like to do is find a way to communicate that feeling to another person. But I can't seem to do it. They just don't get it. Of course, the problem could be that I'm not explaining it very well, but I think it's because they're not listening very well. They pretend to be listening, but they're not, really. So I get worked up sometimes, and I do some crazy things."
